Dried Seaweed Flakes Dried Seaweed meal acts as a soil conditioner, the product is pure seaweed and can be applied by hand spreading or by commercial spreaders and can be mixed with other chemicals, fertilisers or sand. It provides a range of micro nutrients as well as vitamins and alginates, improving soil structure and stimulating microbial activity. It also improves the structure of clay soils whilst increasing the water holding capacity of sandy soils. Dried seaweed meal is recommended for golf greens or sports turfs and the distribution is 10-15kgs/100sqm. Dried Seaweed Powder Dried Seaweed flour acts as a plant stimulant and is best mixed with with water and applied as a foliar spray. Good premixing and storage in a liquid form will ensure the best results for foliar spraying. Foliar spraying seaweeds has become very popular in the last 10-15 years.
